Apply for The Joan and Cecil Reaser Scholarship Fund

Lorain County Community College is proud to announce the availability of the The Joan and Cecil Reaser Scholarship. This award will fully fund tuition and the cost of books for the selected applicant to obtain their Associate Degree at Lorain County Community College. Funded by The Dan and Mila Reaser Family Foundation, it is the intent that the Scholarship will alleviate the burden of working full time while attending college so that the selected scholarship recipient will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in college and advance through higher education. Preference will be given to those candidates who meet the following criteria: 

• Students who will graduate Elyria Catholic High School in May 2024, with preference being given to those who attended parochial school for their entire K-12 education
• Students who were employed while attending high school and can evidence a history of strong work ethic to achieve their goals
• Students who are enrolled full-time in a degree-seeking program
• Students who are not receiving/eligible for other scholarship assistance

*NOTE: this scholarship would begin in the fall semester.
