Apply for TruWest/TRG Scholarship Fund

Lorain County Community College is proud to announce the availability of the TruWest/TRG Scholarship Fund. This award is intended to support Lorain County Community College/University Partnership students. All students may apply, however, preference will be given to:

  • 1st preference: Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) students with preference given to TruWest/TRG employees
  • 2nd preference: students enrolled in LCCC Information Technology and Cyber Security Programs with preference given to TruWest/TRG employees

University Partnership Students: In your Universal Application, you must attach your most recent transcripts and proof of enrollment in the UP Institution for the semester of the scholarship. LCCC students’ status can be accessed by LCCC’s Student Financial Aid; therefore, they are exempt of having to show proof of enrollment and transcripts.

Provide a brief profile of yourself, including your educational goals.
Why are you pursuing a degree in MEMS, Information Technology or Cyber Security?
Are you or have you previously been a TruWest/TRG employee or is/was a member of your family a TruWest/TRG employee (yes or no)? If yes, please share details of your or your family member's employment with TruWest/TRG.
How are you funding your college education? Please reference other scholarships or aid you are receiving.
