Apply for Bernell G. Helm Memorial Scholarship

Lorain County Community College (LCCC) is proud to announce the availability of the Bernell G. Helm Memorial Scholarship. Eligibility requirements for this scholarship are: 

  1. Be a 2022 Elyria High School (EHS) graduate who will enroll at LCCC full-time in Fall Semester 2022-2023;
  2. Have a seventh semester cumulative grade point average between 2.0 and 3.39;
  3. Submit this application which details school activities and community service along with a 250 to 500 word essay to the Guidance Office of EHS by May 15, 2022; and
  4. Apply for admission to LCCC and receive an LCCC student number before May 10, 2022.

The recipient of the Bernell G. Helm Memorial Scholarship will be selected by an independent committee comprised of educational professionals. The scholarship funds will be applied to the tuition and fee costs at LCCC for Fall Semester 2022-2023.
