Lorain County Community College is proud to announce the availability of the Alan J. Zelina Scholarship. This award is intended to support Lorain County Community College/University Partnership students. This scholarship is available to graduating high school students from Clearview, Elyria, Lorain and Oberlin High Schools. Criteria:
- 3.0 GPA upon High School graduation
- A graduating Senior of Clearview High School (CHS) will receive priority
- Preference will be given to full-time students taking 26 credit hours per academic year
- Applicant must be pursuing a major in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) or the Micro Electromechanical Systems (MEMS) program
- Scholarship is renewable but the Applicant must re-apply for assistance each year and have achieved a 3.0 GPA to be considered for further funding assistance
- This scholarship may be offered to any 18-24 year old graduate, not previously enrolled in any higher education programs, who otherwise meets the initial eligibility criteria
University Partnership Students: You must attach your most recent transcripts and proof of enrollment in the UP Institution for the semester of the scholarship. LCCC students' status can be accessed by LCCC's Financial Services; therefore, they are exempt of having to show proof of enrollment and transcripts.
