Lorain County Community College is proud to announce the availability of the Dr. Cathy Dietlin Scholarship Fund for Education Majors. This scholarship fund may be used for tuition, books and technology support only. While all students may apply, this scholarship is intended to support Lorain County Community College and/or University Partnership students who meet the following criteria:
- Students majoring in education
- Students who have earned a GPA of 3.3 or higher
- Students who have provided an answer to the question "Why have you chosen a career in education?" during the application process
- Preference for Lorain High School graduates; however, any Lorain County Graduate may apply
- Preference for full-time students; however, all may apply
University Partnership Students: In your Universal Application, you must attach your most recent transcripts and proof of enrollment in the UP Institution for the semester of the scholarship. LCCC students’ status can be accessed by LCCC’s Student Financial Aid; therefore, they are exempt of having to show proof of enrollment and transcripts.
