LCCC, in partnership with the Ohio Semiconductor Collaboration Network (OSCN), Intel, and the Ohio Association of Community Colleges (OACC) is proud to offer up to $2,000 in scholarships (covering tuition, fees, books and other costs of attendance) to 16 individuals pursuing one-year certificates related to the semiconductor industry. Scholarship recipients will be one of 150 students throughout the state, and these financial resources are designed to support students pursuing in-demand semiconductor and advanced technology careers to propel Ohio’s economy forward and meet critical workforce needs. Students can be either pursuing the One-Year Certificate on its own, or embedded as part of a certificate embedded within one of LCCC’s Associate of Applied Science degree programs.
Scholarship Requirements:
• Intent to enroll, or currently enrolled in one of three eligible LCCC One-Year Certificate programs (can include pursuit of the certificate as part of an aligned Associate of Applied Science degree program):
o Electronic Engineering Technology- Applied Electronics (program code 6309)
o Mechatronics Technology: Micro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) (program code 6510)
o Semi-Conduct Cleanroom Maintenance Technician (program code 6501)
• Have FAFSA on file at LCCC
• Ohio resident
• Minimum LCCC GPA of 2.0 (or new student)
