Lorain County Community College is proud to announce the availability of The McKinley Psychology Scholarship. This award (up to $1000) is intended for full-time (preference given) or part-time degree-seeking LCCC and/or University Partnership students with an expressed interest in Psychology. LCCC students must be planning to transfer to a four-year college or university. Applicants must have and maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.33 as an LCCC or UP student and have completed at least one semester of college. The award may be used for tuition, fees, and books only.
University Partnership Students: You must attach your most recent transcripts and proof of enrollment in the UP Institution for the semester of the scholarship. LCCC students' status can be accessed by LCCC's Student Financial Aid; therefore, they are exempt of having to show proof of enrollment and transcripts.
Dr. Mark B. McKinley taught Psychology classes for 50 years, after which he ran out of words, and so retired in June of 2012. This scholarship is intended to sponsor a student with a similar love of Psychology.
